Registration for the annual PBA Press Corps Sports Writing Contest is now open to all bona fide college students in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

The competition, backed by the PBA Commissioner’s Office, is set during the semifinal round of the ongoing KFC PBA Philippine Cup next month.

Interested parties may call the PBA office at 4702768 and 69 and look for Mich Flores or Hazel Ancheta.

A one-hour crash course on news writing and a brief seminar will precede the actual contest and students are advised to monitor developments in the current PBA conference which is now on its critical classification stage.

Deadline of registration will be at the close of the quarterfinal round.

Cash prizes and plaques await the top three winners.
